Update. May 7,2009
1. Purpose
Sylff aims to nurture future leaders capable of tackling local and global challenges with viewpoints that transcend cultural, national, and other boundaries at a time when the world is experiencing increasingly complex issues.
The Sylff Prize recognizes and supports fellows demonstrating such an outstanding leadership and commitment to society.
It is also intended that Prize winners become role-models and inspiration for the rest of the Sylff community to thrive more, and to feel proud of being a part of the Sylff family.
2. Awards
The Prize winner will be invited to Japan for up to two weeks to receive the Prize in the amount of US$10,000 and a commemorative plaque. The winner is expected to extend his/her network, and to present the winner’s achievements and messages during the stay in Japan.
