Fellows in Action
Regional Forum
Regional Forums (RFs) are regional meetings of SYLFF Fellows that have been planned and implemented biennially since 2003 by the SYLFF Fellows Council (SFC), host institutions and the Tokyo Foundation’s Scholarship Division to promote networking of SYLFF Fellows.
In 2007, the third round of SYLFF Regional Forums was convened at the following 3 SYLFF institutions: North/South America Regional Forum hosted by The Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy, Tufts University, USA (June 11-15); Africa/Europe Regional Forum hosted by Ruhr University Bochum, Germany (June 24-28); and the Asia/Pacific Regional Forum hosted by Jadavpur University, India (November 19-23). SYLFF Fellows addressed the theme of ‘Human Rights and Creative Leadership’ that was selected by the SFC.
