I work as a lecturer at the Dep. of International Relations at Hacettepe University, one of the top research universities of Turkey, since 2012. I received my BSc from Dep. of International Relations at Gazi University with an honor degree in 2008. Then I obtained my MSc degree from Dep. of International Relations at the University of Bristol, UK in 2009 and currently I continue to my PhD studies at the Department of International Relations of Ankara University. My PhD thesis is on “The Role of National Security Council (NSC) in US Foreign Policy Decision Making Process: A Comparative Analysis between Bush and Obama Administrations”. I got Sylff scholarship during my PhD studies in 2019. My academic studies are focused on International Security, US Foreign Policy and Intelligence Studies. Before my academic studies, I had the opportunity to work at the Turkish Council of Higher Education (YOK), a supreme body above all universities in Turkey as the Head of the Dep. of Recognition and Equivalence Services and Vice Coordinator of the Dep. of International Relations in where I gained considerable experience on Internationalization of Higher Education and Recognition procedures of Higher Education Diplomas.
