I am a doctoral candidate in Hebrew Literature at Ben-Gurion University of the Negev. My research, titled "Theoretical Intertextuality: Between the Bible and Modern Hebrew Literature," develops a new model for understanding relationships between texts based on theoretical frameworks used by readers. This approach is designed to examine connections between any texts, regardless of their historical periods. For my research, I specifically apply this model to explore the rich interactions between biblical texts and modern Hebrew literature, examining how these foundational cultural works continue to influence and shape contemporary expression.

I completed my master's thesis, "A Phenomenological Reading of Zelda's Poetry," with academic distinction, offering a novel interpretation of the renowned Israeli poet's work that examines the intersubjective space between subject and object. My undergraduate studies in Jewish History and Hebrew Literature were part of the prestigious "Eitan" Interdisciplinary Excellence Program, where I received several academic awards for my work.

Throughout my life, I have maintained an interest in community engagement alongside my academic pursuits. This has taken various forms, from leadership roles in youth movements to involvement in different social projects in the communities where I have lived over the years. My academic research complements these interests by examining Israeli society through its cultural and literary development. By studying how texts interact with and influence each other across time, my work offers insights into the broader social and cultural patterns that have shaped Israeli identity and continue to influence contemporary society.
