Aayushman Singh

Aayushman Singh is an MBA candidate at INSEAD and a recipient of the Ryoichi Sasakawa Young Leaders Scholarship. With a background in Civil Engineering from The University of Hong Kong (HKU), he has driven impactful work in sustainable infrastructure, entrepreneurship, and digital innovation across the Asia-Pacific region.

He co-founded a greentech startup tackling ocean waste with autonomous robotics technology, which secured international partnerships and scaled operations in Hong Kong and Southeast Asia. At AECOM Asia, a global infrastructure consultancy, he led pioneering efforts in carbon modelling and digital sustainability planning for large-scale infrastructure projects, contributing to regional carbon reduction goals. He also played a strategic role in advancing modular construction technology in Singapore, where he helped develop a digital platform and supported business growth across Asia.

Aayushman’s global outlook is shaped by his professional and academic experiences across Hong Kong, Singapore, India, Indonesia, Philippines, and Myanmar. In Yangon, he contributed to water conservation and rural sustainability initiatives for local farmer families. He continues to support early-stage ventures advising and building AI-driven solutions for sustainable infrastructure development.

He also works for grassroots initiatives in India focused on hydroponic farming and women’s employment especially in rural India, reflecting his commitment to inclusive and community-based impact. Looking ahead, Aayushman aspires to transform infrastructure development through climate-forward innovation and inspire responsible leadership that drives sustainability and growth globally.
