Mrs. Abu-Taleb is a senior lecturer at the faculty of languages at The University of Jordan/Aqaba branch since 2010. Over 500 undergraduate students enroll in her compulsory and elective courses every semester. National Culture, Islamic Culture, Ethics and human values, Islam and contemporary issues, The Science of the Foundation of Jurisprudence, and Intercultural communication are some of the courses that she teaches.
Besides teaching, she enjoys helping her colleagues and assisting them in their technical and online teaching challenges.
Mrs. Abu-Taleb holds a master's degree in Islamic studies in English from The University of Jordan and enrolled in 2017 in PhD Theology and comparative religion at Birmingham University (UK) but postponed currently.
In 2019 she was chosen to participate at the SUSI for scholars' program on Religious Freedom and Pluralism, hosted by Temple University, Pennsylvania, USA.
Mrs. Abu-Taleb speaks Arabic, English, and completed level A in German, French, Italian, Xhosa, and Turkish.
Abu-Taleb has many initiatives in achieving Sustainable Development goals and she is working currently with a group of researchers towards publishing some academic papers about the topic.
