Fangwei Huang is a Ph.D. candidate at Peking University, Beijing, China and a doctoral student on the joint doctoral training programme at the University of Auckland, Auckland, New Zealand. His research interests focus on second language acquisition, employing a variety of methods, including behavioral experiments, psychometric scales, eye-tracking, and electroencephalography, to explore: 1) the emotional, behavioral, and cognitive changes during the reading and writing processes of adult second language learners; and 2) the developmental trajectories and multimodal characteristics of bilingual and multilingual children. He has published many research papers in leading SSCI-indexed journals.
