He is employed as a research assistant at Ankara University. He received his BA from İstanbul University in Political Science and International Relations in 2012 and MA from Ankara University in 2018. He is currently studying for his Ph.D. thesis about international energy investment law at Ankara University, Department of International Relations. Between 2020 and 2022, he received significant support from the Sylff Association for his doctoral education. In this way, for instance, he was able to visit the Law Faculty of Baku State University for research under difficult pandemic conditions. He is also interested in German foreign policy, the law of the sea, and terrorism.
