Alex Christison is a dynamic, passionate, and committed researcher and professional. Alex has over 5 years cumulative experience in research and project management and over 3 years experience in coordinating and managing green businesses. Alex is seeking to better his community from a leadership position informed through decisions based in research, and rooted in public advocacy. His work in green business and community engagement inspired him to return to school in search of publicly accessible, sustainable, and viable solutions to waste management and resource conservation issues. He is currently pursuing a Masters of Environmental Studies at York University, with a specialization in Urban Planning. He is principally interested in resource reprocessing, material reuse, and enhancing the viability of waste repurposing networks.
