Aritra Chakraborti is a PhD student at the Department of English in Jadavpur University, Kolkata, India. He received a PhD-level Sylff fellowship for the 2012–15 period for his doctoral research in the field of book history in colonial Bengal. He aspires to be an academic and an amateur photographer.
