Awuor Ponge serves as Associate Research Fellow in-charge of Research, Policy and Evaluation Fellow at the African Policy Centre. He is a Doctoral Candidate and Adjunct Faculty at Kenyatta University’s Department of Gender and Development Studies. He’s a Double-Masters Degree holder in Development Studies from the Institute for Development Studies of the University of Nairobi on Sasakawa Young Leaders Fellowship Fund (SYLFF) Scholarship; and in Education, Gender and International Development (MA – EGID) from the University of London. Previously, Ponge graduated with a Summa Cum Laude Bachelor of Arts Degree in Literature and Philosophy from the University of Nairobi.

Was awarded the SRA Scholarship in 2009 to participate as an International Visiting Research Fellow at the Institute of Development Studies (IDS) at the University of Sussex in Brighton, England.
