Originally from Syria, Bilal began playing the violin in his country and then joined the
Aix-en-Provence conservatory in 2010, and the Paris CRR (Conservatoire à
Rayonnement Régional) in 2012. In 2014, he was invited to the Easter Festival in
Aix-en-Provence, where he played with Renaud Capuçon and Hélène Grimaud. After
obtaining a French scientific baccalaureate Bilal was admitted to the CNSMDP in the
class of R. Daugareil and O. Charlier, where he recently earned his Master’s degree in
instrumental classical music. In 2019, Bilal became a member of the "West-Eastern
Divan Orchestra" which was a strong symbol for him. Bilal has been involved in several
humanitarian projects. In 2019, he played alongside Barbara Hendricks, a concert for
the benefit of the UNHCR in Geneva for the construction of a primary school for Syrian
