I'm a first-year PhD researcher in Education at the University of Deusto (Bilbao, Spain). My thesis theme falls within the scope of the research group Intervention: Quality of Life and Social Inclusion, a Basque Government-recognized Excellence Team, under the supervision of Dr. Janire Fonseca and Dr. Rosa Santibáñez. Trained originally as an architect, I hold a master's degree in Design Strategy and Innovation and a master's in Educational Innovation. My doctoral research examines adolescent spatial agency in La Resurrección, a peripheral urban community of Puebla, Mexico with strong cultural and social nahua origins, drawing on critical cartography and participatory action research to understand how young people produce and contest knowledge of their own territory.
