Academic achievements, social engagement initiatives:
George has received both his master's diplomas with distinction. His PhD is the first one to be conducted under the aegis of the UNESCO Chair on Climate Diplomacy. He publishes frequently in several academic journals and he presents his work in international conferences. Since 2015 he works at the Institute of European Integration and Policy (National and Kapodistrian University of Athens), first as a Junior Research Fellow and now as a Research Fellow. He participates in various research and educational programs and he currently serves as project manager of the Jean Monnet Module 'European Climate Diplomacy' (2019-2022). He has been in the past a member of the Organizing Committee of the Non-Governmental Organization ‘PAMEMMAZI –Creative activities and support for hospitalized patients’.
George Dikaios is a PhD Candidate of Political Science at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens (NKUA), as well as a Research Fellow at the Institute of European Integration and Policy at the same University. His has studied Political Science and Public Administration (BSc) at the NKUA, International and European Studies (MA) at the NKUA and Political Science: International Organization (MSc) at the Leiden University. His research focuses on international norms, European foreign action and European influence on other international organizations with an emphasis in climate diplomacy and climate change policies. He is a member of the team of the UNESCO Chair on Climate Diplomacy and he is the Project Manager of the Jean Monnet Module ‘European Climate Diplomacy’ (2019-2022).
