Jeremiah is an experienced Specialist in Monitoring, Evaluation, Assessment, and Learning with a demonstrated experience of working in different sectors including MSMEs, Research and Development, Food and Agri-business, Conflict resolution and peacebuilding, Diplomacy, and Humanitarian sectors among others. Jeremiah has assisted organizations to build and operationalize performance monitoring systems to support informed decision-making, learning, and continuous improvement for sustainable growth. He is very well skilled in research and data analysis, corporate social responsibility, sustainable business, and International Agri-supply value chain development.

Jeremiah has been involved in the implementation and/or the evaluation of the World Bank, USAID, Gatsby Funds, FCDO/ DfID, BPRM, UNHCR, EU, ECHO, SIDA, KOICA, AKDN, and DANIDA funded programs implemented in Great Lakes, Southern, and Horn of Africa regions.
Before joining JASATET, Jeremiah was based in Lilongwe, Malawi with AFIDEP as the MERL Specialist. He previously worked with RefuSHE as the MEL Manager, DRC Kenya as the MEL Advisor, Gatsby Africa Tanzania as the Senior Manager Performance Measurement and Learning, Aga Khan Foundation Tanzania as M&E Senior Officer, and LPI as PMEL Advisor.

Jeremiah has a Master of Arts Degree in Development Studies, and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of Nairobi. He is well trained in M&E, Data analysis, Report writing, Communication, Strategic Management and Leadership skills. He believes in ‘letting the data speak’.

Academic Achievements, Social Engagement Initiatives

I have a Master of Arts degree in Development Studies and Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and Philosophy (First Class honours). I am also certified in M&E, research and results measurement, data management and analysis, Markets for the Poor (M4P), and Qualitative studies. I am efficient in using different data analysis packages including Excel, SPSS, PowerBi, and basic R, as well as qualitative techniques of data analysis. I am well experienced in designing and implementing data collection tools using Kobo Toolkit, ODK, Survey Monkey, as well as Microsoft Excel forms.
