Received Sylff fellowship in 2026
Current affiliation: Keio University

I am currently pursuing a PhD in Molecular Cancer Research at Keio University, Japan, where my research focuses on understanding the molecular mechanisms underlying cancer progression and adaptation. Before entering the field of molecular oncology, I conducted research in integrative medicine and public health, with experience in clinical trials, epidemiological surveys, and evidence synthesis. I have authored or co-authored approximately 30 peer reviewed publications.
Building on this foundation, my long-tem goal is to advance evidence-based integrative oncology through rigorous scientific research and international collaboration. I am interested in generating high-quality evidence to support the integration of lifestyle-based interventions, including nutrition, physical activity, yoga, stress management, and other supportive approaches, into comprehensive cancer care. Although these interventions have significant potential to improve patient outcomes and quality of life, their routine implementation in oncology practice requires stronger scientific evidence, standardized methodologies, and robust real world data. In the future, I aspire to lead collaborative research programs in translational oncology, mentor early-career researchers, and strengthen scientific collaborations across Asia.
