Kenichiro Higuchi is a professor of Korea Studies and Comparative Culture Studies at Sugiyama Jogakuen University in Nagoya, Japan. Higuchi’s teaching and research interests cover the linguistic planning and policy and other historical and social issues of Asian countries. He also serves as a visiting research scholar at Rikkyo University and Okinawa University.
