Academic supervisor : KIM Sangho
Current affiliation : Graduate School of Asia Pacific Studies

I am a student of the Graduate School of Asia Pacific Studies, specializing in Development Economics. For my two-year master’s degree, I plan to conduct a research titled ‘Analysis of Bank Performance and Efficiency of Japan and Uzbekistan Banking Systems using the DEA Model for the period of 2021–2025.’ The purpose of this study is to measure and compare the efficiency of major banks in both countries, identify the key factors influencing their performance, and draw lessons from Japan’s experience that can be applied to strengthen Uzbekistan’s banking sector. I will carry out this research through a quantitative approach, applying the Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA) model to financial data from 2021–2025, and then interpreting the results to provide both academic insights and practical policy recommendations.
