Matheus Albergaria holds a Bachelor's degree in Economics from Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais (UFMG), a Master's degree in Economics from Universidade de São Paulo (USP), a Master in Arts (M. A.) degree from Ohio State University (OSU), and a Ph.D. in Business Administration from Universidade de São Paulo (USP), with a postdoctoral period in the Department of Economics at the same institution. He currently works as a professor of Economics at Fundação Escola de Comércio Álvares Penteado (FECAP), and Universidade de São Paulo (USP). He is also an Associate Editor of RAUSP Management Journal. His research focuses on themes in macroeconomics, applied econometrics, and behavioral economics.
