Academic achievements, social engagement initiatives: Mina has so far been awarded numerous scholarships and awards for her academic achievements, including: one of the three full Sainsbury Institute for the Study of Japanese Arts and Cultures scholarship intended for the European nationals for attending summer school held at the University of East Anglia and partly at the University of Cambridge (April 2017); Erasmus+ Scholarship of the European Commission for Radboud University International Summer School (Nijmegen, the Netherlands) (March 2017); Award of the University of Belgrade for being the best student in the Bachelor Studies Program at the University of Belgrade – Faculty of Philology, class of 2015 (2016); the Dositeja Scholarship offered by the Young Talents Fund of the Republic of Serbia to the best graduate students in Serbia (2015/2016); the award of the University of Belgrade – Faculty of Philology for being the best Bachelor’s studies program student at the Group for Japanese Language, Literature and Culture (2015); the City of Belgrade Scholarship, awarded to the best undergraduate students in the city of Belgrade (2015); Monbukagakusho (MEXT) Scholarship by the Government of Japan as an exchange program student at Waseda University in Tokyo (2013/2014); the Vuk Karadžić diploma of the Republic of Serbia (2011 and 2007) and two diplomas by the Stari Grad and Vračar municipalities of the city of Belgrade for outstanding achievements during secondary and primary-level education (2011 and 2007), as well more than fifteen diplomas for achievements at competitions in the Serbian and English language, including No. 1 in the municipality of Stari Grad and No. 3 in the city of Belgrade.

In addition to the academic awards, Mina was also the winner of the international negotiation competition, the “Global Negotiation Conference”, held at the University of Bern and World Trade Institute (July 2016, Switzerland). In April of the same year, Mina was ranked 5th at the unofficial world negotiation championship held at the University of Vienna and Vienna University of Technology, “The Negotiation Challenge”.

As a member of the project for the popularization of the Japanese language organized by the Embassy of Japan in the Republic of Serbia and the Mitsubishi Corporation, Mina worked as a Japanese language teacher in the Eighth Belgrade Grammar school (2015/2016).

Born and raised in Belgrade, Serbia. Graduated from the Third Belgrade Grammar School in 2011 with the perfect GPA (5/5), after which she enrolled to the University of Belgrade – Faculty of Philology, Department for Oriental Studies, Group for Japanese Language, Literature, Culture. She obtained her Bachelor’s degree at the University of Belgrade – Faculty of Philology as the only student in the class of 2015 with the perfect GPA (10/10). Third year of her undergraduate studies Mina spent at Waseda University in Tokyo as a recipient of the Japanese Government Monbukagakusho Scholarship. In 2016, Mina obtained her Master’s degree (GPA 10/10) in the field of Japanese studies and started her PhD studies at the University of Belgrade the same year. In 2017, Mina attended summer schools at the University of East Anglia (UK) and Radboud University (the Netherlands).
