I am a PhD Candidate at Portland State University exploring the interface between information and communication technologies and development (ICT4D). At the crossroads where big data and development collide, I use machine learning and advanced statistical methods to combine time-series data from embedded sensors with mobile surveys and site conditions to derive actionable insights that can improve water, sanitation, and energy services.
