Rebecca is a Lecturer in Law at Giffith University Australia). She was awarded a PhD in 2024 by the University of Coimbra Portugal) for her thesis titled 'Intenational Arbitration and Transnational Public Policy: Money Laundering as a Violation of Transnational Public Policy.' During her PhD, she was a recipient of the Sylff Fellowship. Rebecca has over a decade of experience in law, spanning academic, institutional, and legal settings. She has worked with the United Nations Commission on International Trade Law UNCITRAL, served as an arbitration analyst for Wolters Kluwer, and worked as a lawyer in Brazil and Potrugal. Additionally, she has taught and served as a researcher at universities in five countries.
Her fields of research are international arbitration, economic cime, and international contracts law.
