One of the founders and activists of the self-organized grassroots collective Solidarity Kichen.

Sara Nikolić is a doctoral student at the Department of Ethnology and Anthropology, Faculty of Philosophy, University of Belgrade. As part of her thesis, she tackles cultures and modalities of urban dwelling, as well as post-transition relationships towards urban commons and self-management in the New Belgrade blocks. Her main research interest lay in the area of urban ethnography/anthropology and self-managed social practices while she explores those by relying on critical and sensory ethnographic techniques. As a Research Associate at the Institute for Philosophy and Social Theory, she has been a member of the Institute’s research teams that conduct qualitative research on new social movements; trust in governance and the cultures of rejection, and editorial board member and host of the institute's podcast Zvuk misli.
