Thomas Kealy is Director of Faculty Awards and Honorifics in the Office of the Provost at Clemson University, where he leads initiatives that advance faculty excellence, leadership development, and institutional recognition. A former department chair, founding dean, and ACE Fellow, he has extensive experience in faculty mentoring, academic leadership, strategic planning, and the development of programs that support faculty success across the academic career cycle.
Trained as a scholar of literature and culture, Dr. Kealy's research and teaching have focused on Renaissance studies, environmental humanities, and Mediterranean cultures. His international experience includes a Fulbright Fellowship in Spain, research supported by the National Endowment for the Humanities, and scholarly work in archives and libraries across Europe. He is committed to fostering international collaboration and helping institutions build sustainable cultures of faculty development, recognition, and academic excellence.
