PhD Candidate in Political Science, from Special Centre for the Study of North-East India, New Delhi (2018-present); M.Phil in Women as a Subject in conflict situation in North-East India, SCSNEI, SSS-I, JNU, New Delhi (2016-2018); MA in Political Science, CPS, JNU, New Delhi (2013-2015); BA in Political Science from B Borooah College, Gauhati University (2010-2013); have also worked in an NGO ‘ Samarpan Foundation’ as a coordinator for six month. Receive the national ‘NAMASTE Governor Acharya Award’ in 2019 for the research work in north east India.

Publications:

Published an article title “Cultural Imperialism: Flows of culture between the core and periphery” in Emphasis: A Journal of Social Sciences’ Vol.10, 2016.

Published in A Blind Peer Review Journal Developing Countries Research Centre (DCRC) Vol3,No.1, January-June 2020, University of Delhi - “GlobaLense: A Journal of Social Science Research” under the title “Implementation of Women Specific Social Security Schemes during Covid’19 in Assam”.

Research Interest:

My research interest is on gender studies, women in conflict situation, government schemes, development, and empowerment.
