Academic Achievements, Social Engagement Initiatives
I have consistently demonstrated academic excellence throughout my pursuit of education in institutions of higher learning. I hold a Bachelor of Education (Arts) degree with First Class Honours from the University of Nairobi where I earned the top student award in the class of 2021. Building on this, I pursued a Master of Education degree in Curriculum Studies at the same university, where I earned the Top Student Award, a recognition of my academic rigor, leadership, and contribution to curriculum development discourses. Currently, I am advancing my academic journey as a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) candidate in Education at the University of Nairobi, further deepening my expertise in education and research.
During the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020, I was part of a twelvemember team known as Inspired Family, which mobilized resources to support individuals who had been adversely affected by the crisis. Together, we organized a food drive in Embakasi West, Nairobi, reaching out to at least 50 families, the majority of whom were teachers severely impacted by the pandemic. Beyond this, I have continued to actively engage in various social initiatives as a dedicated volunteer. I have partnered with the Ficha Uchi Initiative under the Bilian Music Family, contributing to their mission of providing school uniforms to less fortunate children in informal settlements. Additionally, I have participated in their annual end-year sports tournament, an event that brings together underprivileged families in Mathare to raise awareness on mental health and combat drug and substance abuse. As part of this initiative, families are also supported with Christmas shopping, a gesture that uplifts their spirits during the festive season. More recently, in 2025, I spearheaded the organization of a corporate social responsibility (CSR) fair targeting three children’s homes in Roysambu Constituency and Kasarani. As the team lead in resource mobilization and strategy, I successfully rallied parents of ACK St. Andrews to donate clothes and food items, which went a long way in meeting the needs of the children in these homes.
