Shephy Elisha Oduor is a Sylff Fellow (2021–2022), educator, and community mobilizer based in Nairobi, Kenya. He is a seasoned educator specializing in History and Religion and currently serves as the Principal of St. Andrews’ School, where he oversees the academic and administrative leadership of a school with approximately one thousand students.
Academic Achievements, Social Engagement Initiatives
He holds a Master’s degree in Education (Curriculum Studies), a Bachelor’s degree in Education Arts from the University of Nairobi and is currently pursuing his PhD studies in curriculum studies at the University of Nairobi.
In his role as principal, he provides strategic leadership in curriculum implementation, institutional development, and compliance with national education policies. He also serves as a liaison between the school and the Ministry of Education while championing student welfare and community engagement initiatives.
Beyond school leadership, Shephy coordinates music and drama activities for the Kasarani and Embakasi schools cluster and serves in several community leadership roles. He volunteers with the Billian Music Family as an event coordinator specializing in logistics and community engagement and also works as a training facilitator with Deliverance Church International.
Through his work, Shephy continues to promote youth empowerment, digital resilience, and community-driven initiatives that strengthen awareness and protection for vulnerable populations.
