Xin is a Ph.D. student in Historic Preservation at Columbia University. She is passionate about preserving earthen architecture through interdisciplinary approaches. As a Sylff Fellow, she explores how material practices intersect with cultural knowledge in East Asia. She seeks to bridge scientific and social perspectives in cultural heritage preservation and conservation.
