I double-majored in Economics and Political Science at the American University in Cairo (AUC), and currently working as a Monitoring and Evaluation Officer in CARE International in Egypt, where I focus most of my developmental work in Upper Egypt-- a place I believe has much potential. I am currently pursuing my MA in Sociology-Anthropology at AUC. I am passionate about contemporary issues within work relations, theorizing time and space, theorizing resistance and intellectual production. There is nothing in this world that I love more than moments spent with loved ones, reading philosophy and free writing.
