Alessio Castiglione is the founder and president of the Newbookclub community lab APS, an innovative social promotion association that employs his original methodology, "Scrittura di Comunità" (Community Writing). This method uses narrative tools such as writing, reading, and empathetic listening to foster community belonging, inclusion, and intergenerational dialogue among diverse participants. Alessio organizes numerous community writing workshops specifically targeting children and adolescents in high-risk neighborhoods of Palermo, aiming to promote narrative practices and social inclusion. His commitment to social impact includes collaborations with Save the Children, Ashoka Changemaker, and the National Youth Agency, aimed at combating generational prejudice, social isolation, and talent dispersion through educational and narrative interventions. In 2016, Alessio represented Italian youth at Save The Children's global meeting in New York. Additionally, he is an accomplished author of coming-of-age novels and children's stories. Alessio's extensive experience spans numerous projects, workshops, and trainings with various educational and social organizations in Italy and internationally.
