Andrew Russo is a doctoral student of Public Affairs and Policy at Portland State University. His research interests draw upon critical theory to examine nonprofit resiliency within emergency management. He has worked extensively with area organizations seeking disaster resiliency advice and guidance. His experiences are informed by his service in the military, international disaster relief efforts, and work in the specialty coffee import/export business. Andrew holds his Master of Public Administration from Portland State and a degree in History from the University of Central Florida.
