Received Sylff fellowship in 2024
Bruna Guidetti is a Ph.D. candidate in Economics at the University of Michigan. She earned a B.A. in Economics from the University of Brasilia and a M.Sc. in Economics from the University of Sao Paulo (USP), where she received the prestigious FAPESP Fellowship and the Foreign Research Fellowship (BEPE-FAPESP).
Her undergraduate thesis investigated the impacts of school inclusion on learning
achievement, and her master's thesis analyzed the consequences of air pollution
on admissions for respiratory illnesses, with some findings published in the AEA
Papers and Proceedings. Currently, as a Ph.D. student, she focuses on how regulations in healthcare markets can enhance access to healthcare.
