Fellowship Received: 2019, 2020, 2021
Academic Supervisor: Jeffery R. Webber

I am a PhD researcher at York University, Toronto. My research is concerned with the political economy of labour migration and agrarian change, with a particular focus on these dynamics in and between Canada and Guatemala. Focusing on questions related to uneven development, social reproduction and the experience of labour amidst the structures of the world economy, my research aims to understand the importance of migrant labour-power to agriculture in the hemispheric economy.

Prior to starting doctoral study, I worked for an international development research institution in London, UK. I have an MA in Human Rights (2011) from University College London.
