Social Educator at Escuela Pública Comunitaria from Franklin district

I develop my field of research in the History of Education in Chile and Latin America, about which I have made several scientific publications and papers both in Chile and abroad. As a teacher and researcher at the Metropolitan University of Education Sciences (UMCE), I participate in the Initial Training of future teachers in the country. In addition, I am part of national and international scientific research communities (Working Group of "Popular Education and Critical Pedagogies" of CLACSO, RIOSAL and Red Trenzar-Chile). Finally, from 2013 to date I have also worked as an educator in the Escuela Pública Comunitaria from Franklin district, a non-formal educational space inserted in a vulnerable and socio-economically disadvantaged sector, where I have developed as a teacher of History and Geography in education basic and average for children, youth and adults, as Pedagogical and Economic-Administrative Coordinator of the School Reinsertion Program during 2016.
