Daniel Evans-Yamamoto

Keio University

Received Sylff fellowship in 2020.
Academic supervisor: Masaru Tomita
Academic achievements, social engagement initiatives:
My latest achievement and published works can be seen in my homepage: https://danyamamotoevans.github.io/works

My motivation is to integrate multi-disciplinary academic fields (Biotechnology(Biology) and Medicine).
My academic research is aimed to develop a new diagnostic method for discovering the difference of protein-protein interactions (PPI) in different individuals. By doing so, we expect to enable a more detailed personalized medicine treatment.
Currently, I have developed a novel high-throughput PPI detection method, and demonstrated that the performance is superior to an orthogonal PPI detection method.
We aim to construct a framework to map the PPI interaction landscape of individuals based on genome/transcriptome information.
