My primary field is development economics. My current research is on health issues in Africa. I am conducting randomized controlled trials and surveys in Mozambique to study ways to improve HIV/AIDS treatment adherence and strengthen orphaned and vulnerable children. My other topics of interest include political economics and environmental economics. Some of my past and current research involves creating and analyzing novel datasets.
