Academic achievements, social engagement initiatives:
As an undergraduate at the British University in Egypt, Hend was granted full scholarship for academic achievement. She also received the Top Student Award and the Award for best dissertation. She is currently a member of the AUC Public Policy Hub team.

Hend Ahmed has three years of work experience in the field of academia. She earned a Bachelor degree in Political Science from the British University in Egypt validated by Loughborough University. She is currently pursuing a M.A. degree in Political Science, with specialization in Development Studies, at the American
University in Cairo. Hend is currently working as a Teaching Assistant at the BUE. Aside from her professional career, Hend has always been keen on participating in community and service activities. She is currently giving literacy classes provided to adults at the BUE.
