The University of Pavia's Supranational Political Economy PhD Thesis Prize (2020) The Finnish Political Science Association's Award for the Best Master's Thesis in Political Science in Finland (2015–2016)
Mr. Konsta Kotilainen, a SYLFF fellow based at the University of Helsinki, works at the intersections of politics, economics, and philosophy. His prospective doctoral dissertation on the promises and limitations of national macroeconomic governance was awarded The University of Pavia's Supranational Political Economy PhD Thesis Prize in 2020. His earlier Master's Thesis won the Finnish Political Science Association's Award for the Best Master's Thesis in Political Science in Finland in 2015–2016. Kotilainen has studied or conducted research also at the Humboldt University of Berlin, the National University of San Martín, and the University of Cambridge.
