Marina is a gender expert with a background in STEM. She holds a B.Sc. in Geology and currently pursuing her M.A. in Gender and Women’s Studies at the University of Jordan. She has worked as a Teaching Assistant at the Center for Women’s Studies at the University of Jordan and as a Research Assistant at the Center of Arab Women for Training and Research (CAWTAR), She is also a certified Full-Stack Web Developer. Marina’s research interests crosscut a range of areas in Sociology, Science, and Technology. Her overarching goals are to understand the status of women in Jordan and the region, and to form a better understanding on how is gender interfering with the social and cultural change in Jordan.
