Matúš Mesarčík

Current affiliation: Assistant Professor at the Institute of IT & IP Law

Academic achievements, social engagement initiatives: Master of Law (Bratislava), LL.M in Law and Technology (Tilburg), Ph.D in Administrative Law (Bratislava), external consultant to public bodies in Slovakia concerning data protection, cybersecurity and regulation of AI.

Matúš is a lawyer, currently working as Assistant Professor at Institute of Information Technology Law and Intellectual Property Law, Comenius University in Bratislava. His main research areas include protection of privacy, data protection, regulation of artificial intelligence and legal means of tackling disinformation online. Matúš cooperates with several public bodies as external consultant and technical institute focused on AI as a member of ethics team.
