I am originally from Gabon, a small country in Central Africa. I completed a Bachelor of Science in environmental studies in 2014, an MA in global studies, and an MPA from the University of Oregon in 2017. I am currently a doctoral student in the Environmental and Occupational Health program at Oregon State University. My research looks at "Novel Approaches for Assessing Air Pollution Exposures and Health Risks in Low-and Middle-Income countries".

Summary of Support Program Activities:
With the money from the Sylff Research Grant, I plan to continue working on my research which looks at the "Influence of personal and neighborhood low-cost sensors on changing air pollution awareness, perceptions, and behaviors in Gabon, Africa. For the second phase of the study, I will be conducting follow up interviews with about 75 participants on how access to air quality data has influenced their awareness, perceptions, and behaviors. During my trip to Gabon, which I am planning for summer of 2024, I will both conduct interviews and present my results to the different stakeholders.
