Thet-Htar Thet is a passionate advocate and leader for social change. She is currently aFoundation Offi cer at the Environmental Defense Fund where she works on building strategicpartnerships and securing funding to advance critical environmental initiatives. Previously, sheworked at UNESCO Myanmar, developing curriculum for pre-service teacher education colleges.In February 2021, she joined the people's resistance movement in opposition to the Myanmarmilitary coup as a protester and digital advocate. Her career is marked by a deep engagementwith climate change, peacebuilding, and social change. Thet-Htar Thet holds a master’s degreein public administration – Development Practice from Columbia University, with a focus onsocial inclusion, human rights, and specializations in management and gender and publicpolicy.
