Received Sylff fellowship in 2013. Vybhavi Balasundharam is a PhD candidate at the University of Michigan
where her research interests include international trade, development
economics and industrial organization. She is mainly interested in studying
how firms in developing countries respond to an unreliable economic
environment and market distortions. Prior to graduate school, she received
her BA in Economics from University of Western Ontario in Canada.
