Bruno Kaimwa Maneno

University of Deusto

He is a Professor at “ Institut National du Bâtiment et Travaux Publics ” high engineer school of Kinshasa, Democratic Republic of Congo where he teaches Public services. He holds a PhD on International and Intercultural Studies, a Master in Public Policy, governance and local growth from the University of Deusto in Bilbao, Spain (Sylff fellow 2006-2008) and a BA on International Relations from the University of Kinshasa, Democratic Republic of Congo.

He has participated in several peace-building forums in Democratic Republic of Congo where he also worked at the electoral independent commission in 2005-2006. He is the co-founder and President of DLESA “Décentralisation, Développement Local pour l’Equilibre Social en Afrique” NGO. His research interests are focused on public policies, decentralization, local governance in globalization context, traditional institutions, local development as well as local growth.

Bruno Kaimwa is very interested on interdisciplinary method, reason for which he reads more publications on psychology and education. He will participate to the 31th international psychology congress which the main theme is “Diversity in Harmony” and his oral presentation is: “ The dynamic of Local diversities in the Democratic Republic of Congo.”

Bruno Kaimwa is author of three books and a lot of articles.
