Academic achievements, social engagement initiatives:
1994/1999: Degree with high honour in Political Sciences (4 year) at Palermo University.
2000/2001: Postgraduate Specialization Course in “EU project planning” at Palermo University.
1999/2001: Postgraduate specializing course in Political and Social Studies, with the patronage of the Faculty of Social Science Pontificia Universita Gregoriana and of the Tokyo Foundation Scholarship Division. Won The Ryoichi Sasakawa Young Leaders Fellowship with a thesis in Politics and Sociology ("Research thesis in Economics and Sociology in Economics: “Legal and economic issues on telecommuting").
2001/2002 Further Training Postgraduate Course in “Planning and Management of Training Services for Public Administration” Masters in Training of Trainers (Centro di Formazione e Studi Formez).
2006/2007:Specialization course in Management of Local Development of the Delnet Programme.
Very involved in Rotary International Programmes and Club service activities.
Current affiliation: Università degli Studi di Palermo (Didactic Manager)

Areas of interest include: globalization and development, public servants training, political communication, sociology of tourism.
Occupational field: Didactic Management, EU Project planning, Monitoring and evaluation, Local development and social empowerment, Public servants training.
